Computer Requirements

The minimum computer system that should be used to run the the site consists of:

  • Intel pentium class computer, I3 chip or greater preferred.
  • 4GB Ram, 8GB+ preferred
  • 20GB Free Disk space
  • Public Internet Connection of at least 5mbps download speed
  • If using Client Onine Access application the internet connection and local network must must support HTML5 web sockets.

Software Requirements

The software / browsers that can be used run the the site consists of:

  • Windows 7 Operating System. Windows 8 and Windows 10 are not officially supported but may work.
  • Internet Explorer 11 preferred
  • Firefox Build 45.0 or higher
  • Java 7 update 51 or higher
  • Java 8 update 31 or higher
Note: If you are attempting to access the Client Online Access application from the Windows 32-bit Internet Explorer (typically the default version on Windows operating systems) you will need the 32-bit version of Oracle Java installed. If attempting to access the application with the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer you can load either 32-bit or 64-bit Oracle Java. If using both versions of Internet Explorer on the same workstation it is recommended that both 32-bit and 64-bit Oracle Java be installed and the proper version of the Oracle Java addon be enabled in each browser.

  • OnDemand Reporting users must have Adobe Acrobat installed.

Security Requirements

You must be pre-approved to access the site. The security requirements for accessing this web site are based on a two-factor authentication system that includes something you need to install to your desktop and something that will be given to you that only you will know. The data passing through the web site is bound by HIPAA laws and there are very strict guidelines that CVSHealth Information Security department must abide by when granting access to the site.
